Her story
Alicia's first leadership job came with a promotion, a bigger team, and no instructions. She did what most new leaders do: worked harder, stayed reachable, and routed every decision through herself.
By year four as a VP she had a full calendar and nothing left for the work only she could do. The fix was not a better app. It was a one-page decision-rights document, a two-hour block every morning, and three sentences about what she said yes and no to.
She kept the job for two more years, then left to coach the people who were hitting the same wall. Today she works with founders, first-time VPs, and leaders stepping into a bigger role, one next right move at a time.
